There are two Pacific salmon we target. One is the Chinook Salmon (also known as King Salmon) and the other is the Coho Salmon (also known as the Silver Salmon). The King Salmon is the largest of the salmon species which ranges from 12 to over 50 pounds. These fish are very strong, vigorous fighters which will wear your arms out with their endurance. The Coho Salmon range in size from 6 - 20 pounds. They are great fighters and jumpers showing off their acrobatics. These two species are excellent eating. We target these two species in several locations throughout the state.
